Posting jobs on GlideHire is free. Messaging clinicians is free. Reviewing applications is free. GlideHire charges a flat per-hire placement fee — typically 4–5× cheaper than a traditional anesthesia recruiter — and rebates a portion of every fee back to the hired clinician.
How the economics work
Pay only on a closed hire. Posting jobs is free. Browsing applicants is free. Messaging is free. GlideHire only invoices when a facility actually hires someone introduced through the platform — never on a posting, never on a recruiter retainer.
Roughly 4–5× cheaper than a typical anesthesia recruiter for the same placement. The fee is a fixed per-placement amount tied to the role type. No subscriptions. No per-posting fees. No retainers.
Clinicians earn for confirming hires. A portion of every placement fee is rebated to the hired clinician — designed to motivate accurate self-reporting, not gaming. The bonus is contingent on the facility’s invoice clearing and the clinician completing a 90-day verification window. Lifetime earnings above $600 trigger W-9 collection and a 1099-NEC at year-end.

How a hire flows through GlideHire
- Facility owner signs the placement agreement once. Posting unlocks. GlideHire logs every facility ↔ clinician interaction (application, message, profile view, document download, offer).
- Facility hires a clinician introduced via GlideHire — within a 12-month attribution window from the introduction event. Hires are recorded by dragging an applicant to the “Hired” column or by attesting during the quarterly attestation window.
- GlideHire invoices the placement fee. Facility pays via card or ACH (Net 30).
- 90 days after the hire date, if the clinician confirms continued employment, the bonus flips to eligible and we pay it out.
Compared to a recruiter
Traditional anesthesia recruiters charge a percentage of first-year compensation — typically 20–30%. GlideHireis roughly 4–5× cheaper for the same placement, and you control the relationship from first message to first day. We don’t source candidates, vet references, or negotiate offers — that’s your work to do, the way it’s always been.
Why we pay clinicians
Most marketplaces ask clinicians to update them after they take a job. We pay clinicians to do it. The bonus turns hire-reporting from a passive ask into an active chase — and it’s a real signal that the platform is on the clinician’s side, not extracting from them.
Bonus payouts are subject to W-9 collection at $600 lifetime earnings and 1099-NEC at year-end.
What never costs anything
- Posting a job. Posting unlimited jobs. Editing them.
- Reviewing every applicant. Messaging them. Inviting them to interview. Sending an offer.
- Browsing the public market rate page or any of the live Philadelphia comp data.
- Clinician access — profile, vault, applications, messaging, compensation visibility (after NPI verification).
